Andrii Stadniuk commenced his formal musical training at the Kamianske College of Music in eastern Ukraine, obtaining a Junior Specialist diploma in music performance, teaching, and wind band conducting in 2012. Seeking further artistic development, he relocated to Germany in 2013 to pursue his Bachelor of Music studies in the tuba studio of Andreas Luhn at the Rostock University of Music and Drama, which he completed in 2017. During his bachelor's studies at the Baltic coast, he received private lessons and mentoring from the world-renowned American tubist Robert Tucci. Additionally, he attended masterclasses with esteemed brass players such as Øystein Baadsvik, Daniel Perantoni, Christian Steenstrup, Ian Bousfield, and Jiggs Whigham. Continuing his academic journey, he earned his Master of Music degree with distinction in 2020 from the Hanover University of Music, Drama, and Media, studying under the guidance of Prof. Jens Bjørn-Larsen. During his studies, he was awarded the prestigious DAAD Prize and granted several scholarships, including the national Deutschlandstipendium, Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now scholarship, Ad Infinitum Foundation stipend, and the NEUSTART KULTUR-2022 scholarship of The German Music Council.
He has an extensive performance history as a soloist, orchestral player, studio and chamber musician of various configurations in Europe and Asia. Some of his musical highlights include performing the John Williams Tuba Concerto with the Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock in 2017, and the Arild Plau concerto for Tuba and Strings at the Gezeitenkonzerte festival in 2022. Furthermore, he performed solistically and as a member of miscellaneous chamber formations for NDR Kultur, WDR Köln, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, Bayerischer Rundfunk, Warner Chappell Music, TONALi, Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Burghausen Jazz Week and other world-class music establishments.
As an orchestral musician he has regularly performed with a plethora of North German symphony orchestras, such as the Lübeck Philharmonic Orchestra, Kiel Philharmonic Orchestra, Göttingen Symphony Orchestra, Bremer Philharmoniker, Mecklenburgische Staatskapelle Schwerin, Neubrandenburger Philharmonic, Philharmonic Orchestra Vorpommern and many other symphonic groups. He also held a permanent position of principal tuba with the Philharmonic Volkswagen Orchestra in Wolfsburg from 2018 to 2021 and was a member of the VW Bigband. He had the privilege of performing under the baton of notable conductors, including Kent Nagano, Nicholas Milton, Erina Yashima and Hansjörg Albrecht.
Alongside his musical endeavors, he has been involved in teaching and project work at prominent educational institutions like the Hanover State Music School and the International Center for Early Musical Education YARO. He has also worked as a juror for the "Jugend musiziert" competition in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Since 2021, he has been acting as a representative for the FMB GmbH company in Gütersloh, providing consulting services for musicians, universities and orchestras from around the world. During his residency in Gütersloh, he was involved in the development of the new Josef Lídl tubas called "Moldau" and participated in a promotion campaign of the ZO "Little Dragon" F-Tuba. In 2023, he was appointed as the principal conductor of the Spexard VFD Band and took on the musical direction at the 100th anniversary of this 60-member concert band in 2024.
He currently holds the position of Head of Winds at the Joseph Schmidt Music School of Berlin.
